OUR SUMMER 2025 SHOW IS...
Rainbow Youth Theatre is back and we’re so excited to announce our summer show, Frozen Jr. We think it’s going to be the coolest one yet. Join us for the magical tale of Anna and Elsa in the Kingdom of Arendelle, with all your favourite songs from the Disney movie that took the world by snowstorm!
We’d love to see as many young performers involved as possible, but since space is limited, all cast members must audition. Auditions aren’t about choosing the best of the best. We’re looking for enthusiasm, energy, and a love for theatre. This helps us be as fair as possible when creating a balanced cast.

All auditions are online.
You’ll be asked for your contact information, a recent photo, and a short video. Instructions are included on the form. Casting decisions and registration details will be emailed out on Saturday, June 1.

Now to May 30 – Online auditions open
June 1 – Cast list sent out and registration opens
June 10 – Registration and first payment due
June 15 – Cast Meet & Greet
August 15 – Second payment due (if not paid in full earlier)
Rehearsals and performances will be held at a Comox Valley school venue (TBD).

Theatre is a team activity, and everyone plays a part in bringing the show to life. Cast members are expected to be available for the full rehearsal and performance schedule. If you already know of any conflicts, please include them in your audition form.
Fees and Policies:
The production fee is $450 per cast member.
- Pay in full by June 10 or pay in two installments, $225 by June 10th and $225 by August 15th
Families with more than one child in the cast receive a 20 percent discount on additional children (First child: $450, second/third/etc.: $360 each)
We believe that cost should never be a barrier to participating in theatre. If the fee is a concern, please contact us. We’re happy to discuss options.
There is a $200 discount available for the second instalment for parents who commit to 20 hours of volunteer work on the production and complete at least 50% of that commitment by Aug 15th. Please let us know if you are interested in volunteering.
Refunds of production fees (minus an administrative fee of $50) are available for cancellations received before Aug 1st. After Aug 1st, no refunds will be issued.
