We’re so excited that you’re interested in auditioning!
We know it can feel a little scary to put yourself out there, especially if this is your first time. But truly, we just want to get to know you. That’s all this audition is for.
Some kids audition because they already love performing. Others are just trying something new and aren’t sure how they feel about it yet. Both are completely welcome. You don’t need to be loud or polished or confident. You just need to show us a little of who you are.
Everyone who wants to be in the show needs to audition so we can build the cast fairly. We’re not looking for perfection. We’re looking for people who are ready to try, to learn, and to be part of a team.
All information about dates, pricing, and scheduling can be found on the Current Season page.
The Audition Form
When you’re ready, you’ll fill out a short audition form and upload your materials. You’ll notice there are a few questions on the form to help us learn more about you. Some might feel easy to answer, and others might not feel like they apply to you, and that’s okay. Just fill out the parts that make sense for you, and skip anything that doesn’t. We don’t expect everyone to have the same background or experience.
What to Submit
You’ll send us two things:
A recent photo (any clear picture where we can see your face)
A short video, filmed on a phone or any camera you have at home
What to Include in Your Video
Start with your introduction:
“Hi, my name is [your name], and I am [your age] years old.”
Then answer these two questions:
Why do you want to be part of this show?
Do you have a favourite song from Frozen? Why do you like it?
Show us a little of what you can do:
Sing about 60 seconds of any song a cappella (that means just your voice, with no background music)
Recite a short poem of your choice
Say this line five different ways:
“What do you mean we have to wake up at 5AM?”
Try it once each as happy, sad, scared, angry, and one emotion you choose. Let us know what emotion you picked!
That’s it! It doesn’t have to be polished. It doesn’t have to be perfect. We’re just excited to meet you.
