ANOTHER GREAT THEATRE SEASON FOR RYT IN 2011

2011 was another successful year for RYT thanks to the hard work and many talents of its extended family and friends. During the summer there were over 80 kids involved in the two productions of Willy Wonka Junior and Once Upon A Mattress. Brian Kruse directed along with Allyson Leet as Assistant Director and Joey Clarkson as Musical Director. Both shows were hilarious with excellent performances and a huge round of applause goes to all of the talented cast, crew, friends, families and production teams that made the summer session really "sizzle"! Join us again for another action-packed summer in the theatre at Mark Isfeld High School next year.

In October, we presented Anne of Green Gables to the Comox Valley and it was truly 'fabulous'! Vivien Douglas and Susan Bradshaw co-directed this Canadian Classic with over 60 actors involved. The music and singing was beautiful and the costumes impressive. RYT is proud to offer to the children and youth of the Comox Valley a very high calibre of community theatre in which to gain confidence, artistic skill, and long-lasting friendships.
