INTERESTED IN BECOMING AN RYT BOARD MEMBER?
We are always looking for additional board members to help guide this volunteer organization. This is an excellent way to be part of the local theatre scene in the Comox Valley and the rewards are great as we continue to produce high-caliber, youth-focused, musical and dramatic theatre.
RYT is in its 22nd year because of people like you in our community who share a love for theatre and kids! RYT builds character both on and off the stage! Contact info@rainbowtheatre.com for more information.
RYT PAST PRESIDENT AND FOUNDING BOARD MEMBER HONOURED
On the closing night of The Wizard of Oz, Mike Butler, one of the founding members of RYT in 1988, was presented with a “silver seat plaque” to be installed at the Sid Williams Theatre. Mike has been a “permanent fixture” in the local theatre community for decades and he has touched the life of many of the Valley’s young thespians. Mike continues to work tirelessly to keep RYT and other theatre groups producing excellent community theatre. Mike truly inspires the slogan “RYT, character building for over 21 years!”

RYT past president Mike Butler, receives a “silver seat plaque” from
President Doug Barr and Sid Williams Theatre Manager, Deborah Renz.
